DAY 1: ENTEBBE – KAMPALA (37 KMS)

Meet and greet at Entebbe International Airport by Crystal Guide who will warmly welcome you and facilitate seamless arrival formalities. Transfer to your hotel after which you will be briefed about your safari. Depending on the time of arrival you are advised to have your money changed this day. Dinner and overnight at Urban City Blue Hotel. Overnight at your hotel. BB

DAY 2: KAMPALA – MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK (311 KMS)

Early morning you head north to Murchison Falls National park via the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where you will have the opportunity to trek the Rhinos. The sanctuary houses Uganda’s Rhino reintroduction project. There are 9 white rhinos and tracking is done on foot and takes about 1 and half hours. Drive to Masindi Town for lunch and later drive to Murchison Falls National Park. Overnight at your lodge. F

DAY 3: MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK

Early morning head for a game drive on the northern bank of the River Nile. Your guide will help you spot elephant, lion, cape buffalo, Roth child’s giraffe, hartebeest, waterbuck, oribi, bushbuck, bohor reed buck, hyena and if you are lucky, the leopard. After lunch, go for a boat safari upstream the calm Victoria Nile to the base of the falls stopping just tens of meters from the ‘Devil’s Cauldron where you will see the River Nile said to be the 2nd longest river in the world crush through a narrow gorge and forming the magnificent Murchison falls!! Marvel at the schools of hippos, crocodiles and over the 17km stretch you may see elephant, waterbuck and Uganda Kob. This is also the zone of many birds, species like goliath heron, Egyptian goose, pelican bee-eater, kingfisher, hornbill, cormorant and the rare shoebill stork. After taking shorts of the photogenic Murchison Falls return to your lodge. Overnight at your lodge. FB

DAY 4: MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK – KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK (441KMS)

After your morning breakfast drive south via Hoima to Fort Portal through verdant countryside passing through traditional homesteads and farms. Fort Portal rests in the shadow of the fabled Mountains of the Moon. The drive takes approximately 8 hours. FB

DAY 5: KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK AND SWAMP WALK

After breakfast we visit Kibale Forest National Park, where the greatest variety and highest concentration of primates in East Africa is exceptionally represented. The most famous of its 13 species is the Chimpanzee known to be a delightful ape. It is also a home of species like the rare I’Hoest’s monkey, the black and white Colobus, Blue monkey, Grey cheeked mangabey, Red tailed monkey, Olive baboon among, the birdlife in the forest is also prolific and includes the beautiful great blue turaco

SWAMP WALK: Your afternoon swamp walks (2-3 hours) will take you through grassland, small communities and some beautiful scenery, where the locals are likely to greet you with enthusiastic waves. It is usual to spot three to four different primate species during this walk. Though the highlight is catching a glimpse of the great blue turaco! Dinner and overnight at Crater Safari Lodge

DAY 6: KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK -¬ QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONALPARK (157) KMS After your morning breakfast, you will proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park Uganda’s second largest national park following the mystical Rwenzori Mountain Range.

Later you will go for an afternoon game drive. As you go through the game park you might spot some animals like the Elephant, Buffaloes, bushbucks, and Uganda Kob, Antelopes, Warthogs, among others. Dinner and overnight at

DAY 7: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, you will have an early morning Game drive in the Ishasha sector where you may have an opportunity to see the lion, leopard, giant forest hog, Cape buffalo, elephant, defassa
waterbuck, Uganda Kob, topi and bushbuck among others.

After lunch enjoy the unique 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. It is a 42kms channel that joins Lake Edward and Lake George. This trip passes through possibly the highest concentration of
hippos. It offers and excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing. The prolific bird life is colourful and stupendous, with well over 550 resident species here you will see a lot of hippos as well as a variety of other animals which come to the waterhole to drink or bathe. You will also have a chance to see Buffalo, bathing elephants, Crocodiles and beautiful birds.

DAY 8: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK – BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONALPARK (150KMS)

Have another morning game drive before proceeding to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest passing through the Switzerland of Africa area known as the Kigezi Highlands with its terraced hillside and winding roads. With all the volcanic activity in this area the scenic beauty is breath-taking. Overnight at your lodge. FB

DAY 9: BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK

After an early morning breakfast proceed to the starting point to embark on your Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in such of the awesome Gorillas – an unforgettable experience of your lifetime. Don’t forget to carry your rain gear, packed lunch and plenty of water. Once you find the gorillas, you will spend with them an hour before returning to your lodge an exciting trek along forested slopes, entwined vines, bushes and bamboo before you eventually reach the gorillas’ habitat. En-route, your guide will point out signs of previous gorilla activity, including dung, nests and chewed bamboo shoots. The time taken to track the gorillas can take as few as 2 hours to as many as 7 hours! Once located, your group will be allowed a maximum of one hour with the gorillas. Coming face-to-face with a mountain gorilla is a truly humbling and emotional experience. A fantastic and privileged opportunity to get up close and personal with these gentle giants! Time allowing; take a community walk around the lodge. Overnight at Gorilla Safari Lodge. FB

DAY 10: BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK – LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK (232 KMS)

After breakfast transfer to Lake Mburo National Park via Lake Bunyonyi. centred on a series of swamp-fringed lakes its bird life is very rich. The green acacia woodland harbours wildlife like the Zebra, warthog, Elands, Impala among others. These can be seen even as you enter the park. After lunch go for an evening boat cruise on L. Mburo and get quite close to the croc and hippos. Overnight at Gorilla Safari Lodge. FB

DAY 11: LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK – KAMPALA DEPARTURE (283 KMS)

After breakfast, have a game drive before driving back to Kampala. You will have a stopover at the Equator where you will have an opportunity to stand in 2 hemispheres at the same time and take some photos, then another stops over at the Mpigi Royal Drum Makers where you will be able to watch the ceremonial drums being crafted using methods passed down through the generations arriving in time to catch your flight back home.
