DAY 1: ENTEBBE – KAMPALA (37 KMS)
Meet and greet at Entebbe International Airport by Crystal Guide who will warmly welcome you and facilitate seamless arrival formalities. Transfer to your hotel after which you will be briefed about your safari. Depending on the time of arrival you are advised to have your money changed this day. DAY 2: KAMPALA – MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK (311 KMS)
Early morning you head north to Murchison Falls National park via the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where you will have the opportunity to trek the Rhinos. The sanctuary houses Uganda’s Rhino reintroduction project. There are 9 white rhinos and tracking is done on foot and takes about 1 and half hours. Drive to Masindi Town for lunch and later drive to Murchison Falls National Park. Overnight at Red Chilli Rest camp (Budget), Murchison River Lodge (Midrange) and paraa Safari Lodge (Luxury). FB
DAY 3: MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK
Early morning head for a game drive on the northern bank of the River Nile. Come eye-to-eye with the African animal kingdom: elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, leopards, different species of antelope and many tropical birds may all be spotted during the game drive. So keep your eyes open, they are all there in Murchison Falls National Park!
Your guide will help you spot elephant, lion, cape buffalo, Roth child’s giraffe, hartebeest, waterbuck, oribi, bushbuck, bohor reed buck, hyena and if you are lucky, the leopard.
After lunch, go for a boat safari upstream the calm Victoria Nile to the base of the falls stopping just tens of meters from the ‘Devil’s Cauldron where you will see the River Nile said to be the 2nd longest river in the world crush through a narrow gorge and forming the magnificent Murchison falls!! Marvel at the schools of hippos, crocodiles and over the 17km stretch you may see elephant, waterbuck and Uganda Kob. This is also the zone of many birds, species like goliath heron, Egyptian goose, pelican bee-eater, kingfisher, hornbill, cormorant and the rare shoebill stork. DAY 4: MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK – KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK (441KMS)
After your morning breakfast drive south via Hoima to Fort Portal through verdant countryside passing through traditional homesteads and farms. The long drive is incredibly scenic, passing through tea plantations and the lush green countryside which characterizes so much of Uganda. You will have a stopover in fort portal for Lunch enroute. Fort Portal rests in the shadow of the fabled Mountains of the Moon. Then you drive one more hour to the lodge. DAY 5: KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast we visit Kibale Forest National Park, where the greatest variety and highest concentration of primates in East Africa is exceptionally represented. The most famous of its 13 species is the Chimpanzee known to be a delightful ape. It is also a home of species like the rare I’Hoest’s monkey, the black and white Colobus, Blue monkey, Grey cheeked mangabey, Red tailed monkey, Olive baboon among others. The walk takes 2-3 hours.
After lunch go for Bigodi swamp walk where you may see a variety of bird species and other smaller mammals.
Optional: Chimpanzee Habituation tracking:
At an additional fee of only $70 us dollar pp you do the chimpanzee habituation tracking instead of the regular chimpanzee tracking. This will take all day and you will be 100% sure to have a very encounter with your closest relatives. Book this in time because only 6 persons per day are allowed to go. Your swamp walk can be postponed to the next morning.

DAY 6: KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK – QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONALPARK (157) KMS
After your morning breakfast, you will proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park following the mystical Rwenzori Mountain Range. As you go through the game park you might spot some animals like the Elephant, Buffaloes, bushbucks, and Uganda Kob, Antelopes, Warthogs, among others.
After lunch enjoy the unique 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. It is a 42kms channel that joins Lake Edward and Lake George. This trip passes through possibly the highest concentration of hippos. It offers and excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing. DAY 7: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
Have an early morning Game drive where you may have an opportunity to see the lion, leopard, giant forest hog, Cape buffalo, elephant, defassa waterbuck, Uganda Kob, topi and bushbuck among others. in the afternoon you will take a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel which joins Lake George and Lake Albert.
Here, you will see a lot of hippos (more than you can possibly imagine!), as well as a variety of other animals which come to the waterhole to drink or bathe. You can expect to see buffalo, crocodile, bathing elephant, and a range of beautiful birds. This will undoubtedly be one of the highlights of your tour. Later transfer to Ishasha sector where you will go for another game drive in the evening in search of tree climbing lions. Overnight at lodge. Optional activity: Hot Air Balloon Safari:
Experience the wildlife of Queen Elizabeth np in a new, unique way. Wake up early to catch the sunrise, as you silently fly over the plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Admire the herds of buffaloes, elephants and enjoy the serene tranquillity of the African bush.
You will take off early at dawn for a flight that lasts for approximately 1 hour. Rise as the sun rises and float in whatever direction the winds of the morning takes you. Fly higher than the trees and hills and enjoy the best of Uganda, with many great photo opportunities of the scenery and wildlife below.
After a smooth landing you can celebrate this amazing adventure with a glass of sparkling juice before returning to your lodge to continue your safari.

DAY 8: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK – BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONALPARK (150KMS)
Have another morning game drive before proceeding to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest passing through the Switzerland of Africa area known as the Kigezi Highlands with its terraced hillside and winding roads. DAY 9: BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK
Following an early breakfast, you will be briefed before you begin gorilla tracking in the dense Bwindi forest. then go to the park headquarters where you will be briefed by the guides before you begin search the Bwindi forest for the giant gorillas.
Bwindi National Park is renowned for its impressive mountain gorillas, although it is unpredictable for how long you will track before finding them since it all depends on their movement. Though the time spent to track down these Gorillas is unpredictable, the thrill of spending time and of serving these gentle giant gorillas is a rare, moving, awesome and exciting adventure that will leave you with long lasting memories of a truly unique experience. The gorillas are shy and peaceful animals and it is an unforgettable experience to watch and photograph them as they play and interact.
You will set out with a packed lunch and enough drinking water, and you are advised to wear strong comfortable boots plus a light rain-jacket since the weather in Bwindi Impenetrable forest is highly unpredictable. You will be availed with Walking sticks by the park rangers. Also visitors are allowed to spend only one hour with the gorillas for the purpose of conservation. The ranger guide will brief you on how to conduct yourself while in the presence of the gentle giants. In the evening, proceed to the village for a cultural walk to interact with the local people. Participate in captivating traditional performances presented by Women’s groups or orphan children groups. DAY 10: BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK- LAKE BUNYONYI (115 KMS)
Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, the 2nd deepest lake in Africa. Dotted with small islands with steep sided and terraced shores, the scenery is breathtaking. It is the perfect spot for you to relax after the strenuous gorilla tracking. You can go canoeing in the locally made canoes, swim or just sun bathe. It’s a must stop for committed birders and besides that its serpentine shape and numerous Islands other highlights one must look out for. You will check out several islands like Bwama Island good for birders or you could take a nature walk along shore on one of the islands helping you to appreciate a variety of small birds or simply relax. DAY 11: LAKE BUNYONYI – LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK (170 KMS)
After breakfast transfer to Lake Mburo National Park. Centered on a series of swamp-fringed lakes its bird life is very rich. The green acacia woodland harbors wildlife like the Zebra, warthog, Elands, Impala among others. These can be seen even as you enter the park. After lunch go for an evening boat cruise on L. DAY 12: LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK – KAMPALA
After breakfast, have a game drive before driving back to Kampala. You will have a stopover at the Equator where you will have an opportunity to stand in 2 hemispheres at the same time and take some photos, then another stops over at the Mpigi Royal Drum Makers where you will be able to watch the ceremonial drums being crafted using methods passed down through the generations. You will arrive in Kampala in the afternoon.
Lake Mburo N.P. is one of two parks in Uganda where it is permitted to go for a bush walk with an experienced ranger. This opportunity should not be missed. From footprints and animal droppings the ranger will be able to tell you which animal has left it and how long ago. It is exciting to approach wildlife at such close range.
Instead of going for the bush walk, you can as well opt for relaxing at your lodge, a mountain bike safari ($15 pp extra for 2 hours) or going on a horseback riding safari in the park (US$ 60 pp extra for 2 hours).

DAY 13: DEPARTURE
Depending on the departure time you may go for the following excursions on payment of a supplement: Half day white water rafting on River Nile, half day trip to Ngamba Island in L. Victoria to see the orphaned chimpanzees or city tour and visit to the craft villages. Transfer to the airport in time to catch your flight.
