DAY1: KAMPALA- ENTEBBE (47 KMS)

Meet and greet at Entebbe International Airport by Crystal Guide who will warmly welcome you and facilitate seamless arrival formalities. Transfer to your hotel after which you will be briefed about your safari. Depending on the time of arrival you are advised to have your money changed this day. Overnight at Urban City Blue Hotel. BB

DAY 2: KAMPALA- KIBALE NATIONAL PARK (358 KMS)

After an early morning breakfast, you will depart Kampala for Fort Portal arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon relax at your hotel or visit the crater lakes area. Overnight at Crater Safari Lodge. FB

The lodge comprises of seven ultra-luxurious double/twin cottages and two larger cottages each with two rooms to sleep up to four. These family cottages are ideal for larger groups or families. All the cottages have en-suite bathrooms with hot and cold running water as well as solar lighting, internet access, individually designed furniture and stunning scenery around Lake Nyinabulitwa.Amenities at the lodge include a restaurant, bar, lounge, crafts shop, mobile spa facility and campfire area overlooking the Crater Lake.

DAY 3: KIBALE NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast we visit Kibale Forest National Park, where the greatest variety and highest concentration of primates in East Africa is exceptionally represented. The most famous of its 13 species is the Chimpanzee known to be a delightful ape It is also a home of species like the rare I’Hoest’s monkey, the black and white Colobus, Blue monkey, Grey cheeked mangabey, Red tailed monkey, Olive baboon among others. The walk takes 2-3 hours. After lunch go for Bigodi swamp walk. This swamp is a home to approximately 137 bird species and it is also rich in vegetation, such as wild palms, polita figs and the dominant papyrus. Overnight at Crater Safari Lodge on FB.

DAY 4: KIBALE NATIONAL PARK- QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK (157 KMS)

After your morning breakfast, you will proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park following the mystical Rwenzori Mountain Range. As you go through the game park you may spot some animals like the Elephant, Buffaloes, bushbucks, Uganda Kob, Antelopes, Warthogs, among others. After lunch enjoy the unique 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. It is a 42kms channel that joins Lake Edward and Lake George. This trip passes through possibly the highest concentration of hippos. It offers and excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing. The prolific bird life is colourful and stupendous, with well over 550 resident species. Overnight at Ihamba Safari Lodge

DAY 5: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK

Have an early morning Game drive where you may have an opportunity to see the lion, leopard, giant forest hog, Cape buffalo, elephant, defassa waterbuck, Uganda Kob, topi and bushbuck among others. Later transfer to Ishasha sector where you will go for another game drive in the evening in search of tree climbing lions.Overnight at Ihamba Safari Lodge on FB.

Optional activity: Hot Air Balloon Safari:

Experience the wildlife of Queen Elizabeth National Park in a new, unique way. Wake up early to catch the sunrise, as you silently fly over the plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Admire the herds of buffaloes, elephants and enjoy the serene tranquillity of the African bush

You will take off early at dawn for a flight that lasts for approximately 1 hour. Rise as the sun rises and float in whatever direction the winds of the morning takes you. Fly higher than the trees and hills and enjoy the best of Uganda, with many great photo opportunities of the scenery and wildlife below. After a smooth landing you can celebrate this amazing adventure with a glass of sparkling juice before returning to your lodge to continue your safari. Costing: $380 per person

Optional activity: Lion Tracking:

This new and unique experience allows visitors to actively participate in monitoring some of lions in the park, using locator devices and learn habituation calls, as well as monitoring weather, surroundings and behaviour. The results are added to researchers’ databases, contributing valuable information to the overall understanding of wildlife ecology – and helping to conserve this wonderful ecosystem. This will as well give you a chance to see the lions. The number of people on each outing is limited in order to reduce stress on the animals and to increase the quality of the experience for visitors

The experiential tourism activities currently available are Mongoose Tracking, Lion Tracking, Hippo Census, and Bird Counts. DAY 6: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK- BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK (150 KMS)

Another game drive before proceeding to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. You will drive through the Switzerland of Africa area known as the Kigezi Highlands with its terraced hillside and winding roads to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. With all the volcanic activity in this area the scenic beauty is breathtaking. Overnight at Gorilla Safari Lodge. FB

Gorilla Safari Lodge is a relaxed and luxurious lodge on the boundary line of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Bwindi has a population of around 340 mountain gorillas (Gorilla gorilla beringei); roughly half of the remaining mountain gorillas in the world. The ancient forest is home to the biggest ever troop of gorillas that are familiarised with humans. It is a humbling once-in-a-lifetime experience to be able to observe these shy and peaceful animals in their natural

habitat.

DAY 7: BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK

After an early morning breakfast proceed to the starting point to embark on your Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in such of the awesome Gorillas – an unforgettable experience of your lifetime. Don’t forget to carry your rain gear, packed lunch and plenty of water. Once you find the gorillas, you will spend with them an hour before returning to your lodge. Time allowing; take a community walk around the lodge. Overnight at your lodge. Gorilla Safari Lodge

DAY 8: BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK- LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK (279 KMS)

After breakfast transfer to Lake Mburo National Park. Centered on a series of swamp-fringed lakes its bird life is very rich. The green acacia woodland harbors wildlife like the Zebra, warthog, Elands, Impala among others. These can be seen even as you enter the park. After lunch go for an evening boat cruise on L. Mburo and get quite close to the croc and hippos. Overnight at Mburo Safari Lodge.

DAY 9: LAKE MBURO – KAMPALA

After breakfast, have a game drive before proceeding to Kampala with a stopover at the Equator where you will have an opportunity to stand in 2 hemispheres at the same time and take some photos, then another stop over at the Mpigi Royal Drum Makers where you will be able to watch the ceremonial drums being crafted using traditional methods passed down through the generations. Time allowing go for a city tour or simple visit the craft villages before being dropped at the Entebbe International Airport in time for your flight.
