Itinerary

DAY 1 : ENTEBBE

Meet and greet at Entebbe International Airport where your Uganda Adventure Safari starts by our representative who will warmly welcome you and facilitate seamless arrival formalities. Your will then be transferred to your hotel where you will be briefed about your adventure safari.

Depending on the time of arrival you are advised to have money Changed on this day ,If time allowing you may go for a city tour. All activities today are at your own cost. You may visit the botanical gardens at a supplement of $10 per person or visit the Uganda Wildlife Educational centre at supplement of $15 per pesrson or go for a cheese and wine sundowner on Lake Victoria at a supplement of $85 per person or Behind the scenes, where you are able to feed animals like lions, elephant, giraffe, chimps, shoebill at asupplement of $75 per person.

DAY 2 : MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK

After your early morning breakfast drive northwest to Murchison Falls National Park, you may stopover at the Rhino Sanctuary where you will have an opportunity to trek Rhinos.

There are 15 Rhinos which were reintroduced after their extinction in the 1970s through poaching. A local ranger guide will lead you on foot to an up-close encounter with the rhinos and it may take about 1 and half hours. Proceed to Masindi Town for lunch and later continue to Murchison Falls National Park arriving at your lodge late afternoon.

DAY 3 : MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK


After breakfast, you will go for a morning game drive and later go back to your lodge for lunch.

Alternatively, you may opt for a hot balloon safari with a bush breakfast at a supplement of $380 per person.

After lunch, go for a boat cruise upstream the calm Victoria Nile to the base of the falls stopping just few of meters from the ‘Devil’s Cauldron’, marvel at the schools of hippos, crocodiles and over the 17km stretch you may see elephant, waterbuck and Uganda Kob. This is also the zone of many birds, species like goliath heron, Egyptian goose, pelican bee-eater, kingfisher, hornbill, cormorant and the rare shoebill stork.

After taking shorts of the photogenic Murchison Falls, you may choose to continue to the top of the falls, where you will have the amazing view of the falls! See where the Nile -world's longest river explodes violently through a narrow cleft in the Rift Valley escarpment to plunge into a frothing pool 43m below. Later, return to your lodge and relax in the evening.

Alternatively, you may choose to pay a supplement of $500 per group of 8pax to go for the delta cruise in search of the shoebill and wildlife

DAY 4 : MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK


After breakfast, you will go for sporting fishing in the Nile-Sport Fishing in Murchison Falls National Park in search of Nile Perch, Cat Fish and Tiger Fish. Stunning scenery and an amazing day on The Nile River.

Fishing is mainly done along the Victoria Nile which involves catching fish along rocky surfaces, the bottom of the falls mainly the Devil’s Cauldron, and at the banks of the Nile by the anglers.Fishing along the Nile is an exciting experience though you are advised to take caution of the Hippos and Nile crocodiles especially while fishing at the River banks.

There are two major fishing sites in Murchison; one near Paraa(located below the Murchison falls) and another below Karuma falls(at Chobe safari lodge). But sport fishing in the park is currently carried out mainly at the base of the falls either from the boat down the stream or from the rocks on the River bank.

DAY 5 : KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK

After your morning breakfast, you will be transferred to Paraa Airstrip to fly to Kibale Forest National Park. You will be picked by your guide at Kasese Airstrip to transfer you to your lodge.

Arrive at the lodge in time for a late lunch. Relax at the lodge or take an unguided walk around the lodge to enjoy the beauty of the scenery.

After a late lunch, head to Bigodi for an afternoon swamp walk . Bigodi was established by a local development organization to protect the 4sq-km Magombe Swamp that's home to around 200 species of birds (highlights include papyrus gonolek, White-winged warbler and great blue turaco). The highlight of this tour is catching a glimpse of the great blue turaco. The swamp is also good for spotting butterflies and primates, with eight different species here, including grey-cheeked mangabey. Experienced local guides who interact with the guests and make the trip both enjoyable and exciting lead the 2-3 hour guided walkto face with these closest cousins of man. Advance booking is necessary for this option

*Note the flight can only take off if its 7pax or more. If not we shall refund the flight and we opt to drive only that 7-9 hours drive but we have a stop in Hoima for lunch and continue.

DAY 6 : KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK


After breakfast at your lodge, transfer to the starting point of your Chimpanzee Habituation experience in Kibale Forest National Park which is reputed to have the greatest variety and highest concentration of primates in East Africa. The most famous of its 13 species is the Chimpanzee, man’s closest relative. Kibale’s 1450 Chimpanzee represent Uganda’s largest population of this endangered primate. Kibale is also a home to the rare I’Hoest’s monkey. Other primates include the black and white Colobus, Blue monkey, Grey cheeked mangabey, Red tailed monkey, Olive baboon to mention but a few. Therefore, you will enjoy a guided nature walk in the tropical rainforest in search of the wild chimpanzees, red-tailed monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys and many others. Although chimp sightings are not guaranteed, visitors stand a good chance of hearing and seeing our distant cousins as they gloom and bond with one another. With the chimps habituation you will be gone for the Whole day. You will have a packed lunch with you.

DAY 7 : BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST

After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to Kasese Airstrip and you will catch your flight to Bwindi impenetrable Forest. Your guide will receive you at Kisoro Airstrip and transfer your lodge for lunch.

After lunch, you may opt for optional activities at the lodge

DAY 8 : BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST


After an early breakfast, move into the forest and start trekking the mountain gorillas. Coming face to face with the largest primates is a memorable adventurous experience that can never be forgotten. Gorilla Habituation in Bwindi involves trekking up steep muddy and densely forested slopes so it may require some level of fitness. - the only forest in Africa which can make this claim. It also hosts five other species of primate, 113 species of mammal, over 200 butterflies and 360 birds. The gorillas you trek belong to one of nine habituated family groups who can tolerate the presence of humans for a brief period every day.
The time taken to trek the gorillas can be as few as 3 hours to as many as 7 hours. Once the gorillas have been located, your group will be allowed a maximum of 4 hours with them. Coming face-to-face with a mountain gorilla is a truly humbling and emotional experience.

Return to the lodge where you will enjoy dinner with your fellow travelers before getting a good night’s rest for tomorrow's safari adventure.

Don’t forget to carry your rain gear, packed lunch, plenty of water, gloves, hat, and water proof bag for protection of your camera in case of rain

DAY 9 : BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST

DAY 10 : ENTEBBE


After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kisoro Airstrip to catch your flight to Entebbe Airport. Your guide will be waiting for you at Entebbe Airport and you will be transferred to your hotel.

You may opt to do a city tour at a supplement of $35 per person. For the Kampala City Tour, you may opt to visit the Uganda Museum, Kasumbi tombs where the Buganda royals are born, Buganda Palace, Makekere University, Rubaga Church, Bahai temple.

DAY 11 : JINJA

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Jinja, the second largest town and the colonial manufacturing hub, Jinja. In Jinja the Nile River begins its journey from Lake Victoria all the way up to the Mediterranean Sea. You will have lunch at your lodge and later relax at the lodge.

In the afternoon, you will go for a boat cruise on the Nile, enjoy the source of the Nile.

Later, you will be transferred back to your lodge for dinner and overstay.

DAY 12 : JINJA


After breakfast, you will do full day rafting on the Nile. Between the rapids you can swim and watch the numerous birds. You will have the Full day white water rafting. You will have lunch there.

DAY 13 : END OF ITINERARY


After breakfast, you will be transferred to Entebbe Airport to a catch your flight to your next destination.
