Early morning after breakfast transfer to Entebbe Airport to catch a domestic flight to Kisoro Airstrip. The flight takes approximately one hour. You will be met by our representative who will transfer you to the lodge which is 35km away. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park which lies in southwestern Uganda on the edge of the Rift Valley. Its mist-covered hillsides are blanketed by one of Uganda’s oldest and most biologically diverse rainforests, dating back over 25,000 years and contain almost 400 species of plants. More famously, this “impenetrable forest” is home to half of the remaining Mountain Gorillas in the world. After lunch, You will visit the Batwa community near the lodge , you also visit the rushaga women's group , local school supported by the lodge or you can either relax at the lodge or do some optional activities.
